Filtration advice needed.
« on: October 15, 2014, 09:37:42 pm »
We are building a 150 gal. tank for haps and peacocks, come across a deal on two new fluval fx6's. We are wondering if this will be enough filtration for this size tank. Thanks

Should easily be enough, a FX6 is rated for 400 gallons although most of us like to overfilter our tanks so the more the merrier. One of them may even be enough although if Africans are as messy as I have heard the second one may be useful and can always be utilised elsewhere if it is found to be a bit of overkill.
